About this concept
Connecting clauses with 'a' (and then), 'i' (so that/in order to), 'no ka mea' (because), 'ke...nei' (present tense marker), 'inā' (if). Building multi-clause sentences.

Examples
Ua hele au a ua ʻike au iā ia.I went and I saw him/her.
E hele au i laila no ka mea nui ka hana.I will go there because there is much work.
Inā ua hele ʻoe, ua ʻike ʻoe.If you had gone, you would have seen.
Ke heluhelu nei au i ka puke.I am reading the book (right now).
