About this concept

Causative formed with -اندن (-āndan) suffix or compound verbs: خواباندن khābāndan (to put to sleep, from خوابیدن to sleep). Also periphrastic: کاری کردن که (to cause that).

In Settemila Lingue, this concept generates a practice deck of ~30 cards at level B2.

Examples

بچه را خواباندم.I put the child to sleep.

غذا را رساندم.I delivered the food. (caused it to arrive)

او مرا خنداند.He/She made me laugh.

معلم شاگردان را فهماند.The teacher made the students understand.
