About this concept

The standard spoken past tense formed with 'anar' (to go) conjugated + infinitive: vaig cantar (I sang). Unique to Catalan among Romance languages. Forms: vaig, vas/vares, va, vam/vàrem, vau/vàreu, van/varen.
